About ParentSquare
Dear Liberty Families,
We are excited to announce that we have adopted a new form of school-to-home communication at Liberty CUSD 2 for the 2024-2025 school year called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform informs parents and guardians and encourages greater engagement and connection with [school or district name]. It provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, and parents to:
Send and receive school and class information
Receive notifications for various activities and groups
Share pictures and files
See calendar items
Sign up to volunteer
Schedule parent-teacher conferences
and much more... . all in one centralized place!
ParentSquare replaces Remind and School Messenger as it provides the functionality of both in one unified application.
Based on student class enrollment data in Skyward, parents and students will automatically be enrolled in their teacher's group to receive messages and also see relevant posts from their school and the school district.
All district, school, grade level, and classroom information will now be sent via email or text to your computer or phone. For even more convenience, download the ParentSquare app—free for iOS and Android devices—see the QR codes to the right.
Phone calls will also be made for urgent notifications as they were in SchoolMessenger. But these will be infrequent as emails and texts (or app notifications) will be most commonly used.
To ensure ParentSquare works effectively, you must verify that your email and cell phone information is accurate in Skyward Family Access.
Have questions? Click the question mark in the top right corner of the desktop version or the Help tab on the app (tap the triple bar icon at the top left) to find answers to most of your questions.
